Freshman Class

Freshman Class Spaghetti Dinner at REIBT
(Redwood Empire Invitational Basketball Tournament)

Friday, December 7, 2007

If you are new to the school, a great way to get to know other parents from your student’s class is to participate in the annual HHS Freshman Class Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction event. This is the biggest (and only!) fundraiser for the Class of 2011 and is scheduled for Friday, December 7th in the HHS cafeteria during the annual Redwood Empire Invitational Basketball Tournament (REIBT) at HHS. There are many ways to support the Class of 2011 ahead of the event and the night of the event. This event raises all the money for the Class of 2011 treasury to pay for events the class hosts as Sophomores and Juniors. Any remaining funds are used for Senior class events and to reduce the amount of each Senior’s class fees. For example, the Class of 2006 paid Senior fees of only $50 each covering their admission to Prom, the Senior Class picnic, dinner dance and their cap & gown fees. The rest was paid for out of the funds they raised back in their Freshman year. This event benefits every Class of 2011 student and their parents, so everyone is asked to participate in some way. Please contact the HHS Freshman Class Advisor, Patrick McDowell at 431-3424 (pmcdowell@husd.com) or Event Chair Roxanne Sullivan at 857-4334 (psulli@sonic.net) or Parent Volunteer Anne Friedemann at 433-1565 (anne-f@prodigy.net) to find out how you can help.

Remember: Freshmen, sell those tickets and make this event the greatest ever!!!
